From the very beginning of my professional career, my goal in any business space has always been to align what we call strategic communication with genuine connection with people's concerns, needs, feelings and goals. Instead of an MBA, I chose a masters in Psychology to enhance both my personal and professional skills. I knew that I would continue my studies and eventually focus more and more on wellness while developing my own techniques for coaching individuals dealing with a wide range of personal and professional challenges.
In my own life, I too have faced some profound challenges that sent me searching for guidance and solutions. What I discovered is that no single school of thought or methodology tells the whole story or provides THE answer.
Yes, our mindset significantly influences our thoughts and feelings, but our physical well-being is also essential in shaping our outlook. Defining and addressing present challenges is important, yet understanding our past and recognizing established patterns (both helpful and detrimental) is equally significant. Spirituality, embracing the present, and finding joy in the now are vital, but practical measures for tackling discomfort and anxiety cannot be ignored. And while affirmations serve a purpose, true healing eludes us if we resort to gaslighting ourselves. Well, you get the picture.
Many of the valuable resources I encountered and continue to study are tethered to a singular philosophy or method. What I found to be effective is integrating various methodologies and perspectives into a holistic, diverse approach, one that respects the various dimensions of human needs, combines multiple strategies, and tailors to individual circumstances.
Given my experience and my own personal journey, I was inspired to establish a life coaching practice dedicated to offering an accessible, comprehensive pathway to the solutions we all seek at times in our lives. Having been in those dark places where nothing makes sense, where helplessness and frustration become overwhelming, where resources may be rigid and inaccessible (often causing more anxiety and confusion), I wanted to create a safe space that is convenient and affordable; a space where guidance resonates, concepts can be easily grasped, and practical steps are laid out for transforming life experiences, breaking free from old patterns, enhancing self-confidence, aligning with true values, defining purpose, enriching relationships, resolving conflicts and finding relief from anxiety.
